Hello
I am a freelance editor and writer, based in the Ottawa Valley with clients around the world. My areas of expertise are economics, politics and public policy but also do work with Board and Committee minutes. I am particularly eager to work with Roman Catholic Organizations. Clear and concise writing is my passion and eliminating ambiguity is my goal.
Experience and Credentials
I have spent most of the past 20 years working in the fields of economics, geopolitics and public policy. Communicating in a clear, concise, and accessible way has been a common thread throughout my career, from simple marketing messaging to distilling complex and technical information for a general audience.
I was the lead author and editor of a flagship economics publication at Export Development Canada (EDC) for several years and have written and contributed to countless briefing notes, reports, articles, and blogs.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Master of Arts in Economics. I speak French (BBB- level) and a smattering of Latin.

I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) and the Canadian Editors Association.
